Producciones Viva presents "Vallarta Volume One: Luz y Color," a photographic essay on Puerto Vallarta by Australian photographer Mark Callanan.
This full-size book features 96 pages of beautiful images of Puerto Vallarta and surrounding areas.
Mark Callanan came to Vallarta by chance in 1996 and embarked upon a profession as a photographer. "Luz y Color" represents his visual discoveries as he explored his new home and career.
The images are some of the author's favorites and were selected on individual merit and, collectively, as a colorful compilation.
The book's geographical boundaries are arbitrary, as is the subject matter, but all the images were encountered within a few hours' drive of downtown.
This is Mark's photographic salute to the Vallarta that welcomed, encouraged and entertained him during his working sojourn.
Producciones Viva has been publishing books and magazines about Puerto Vallarta and Mexico since 1989. "Luz y Color" is the first volume in a series of photographic books illustrating this world-famous destination.
