John Huston was the famous Hollywood producer, who in 1963 chose
the sleepy fishing village called Puerto Vallarta to make his now-classic
movie "Night of The Iguana."This movie sparked the romance between Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor and put Puerto Vallarta on the world map. John Huston was also a resident of Puerto Vallarta. He had a home for many years near Majahuitas and was a frequent visitor to town. A statue dedicated to his memory is located on the Cuale Island. | |
