Costa Banderas refers to the coastal areas around Banderas Bay. From where the Sierra Madre Mountains meet the sea at Mismaloya beach, southwest of Puerto Vallarta, to the city itself that sits along the Banderas Bay which includes the famous rock formations of Los Arcos, and the Marietas Islands, bordered by miles of spectacular beaches. Costa Vallarta then follows north to Punta de Mita and beyond to San Francisco/San Pancho in the northwest. | |
