Playa Camarones - "Shrimp Beach" - is close to downtown Puerto Vallarta, just off the north end of the Malecon but is quieter since it is further away from the bustle of the city and hotel beaches. Many local people are seen there enjoying there lunch hour as it so peaceful. There are no facilities available at this beach, however plenty of restaurants are located just around the corner on the main street. Parking is located on Avenida Paraguay. By foot, there are several side streets that access the beach area. Locate on map
