Galeria Pacifico Galería Pacifico is now located less than 150 feet from the Pacific Ocean. Its balcony looks down the picturesque cobblestone street to where it meets Vallarta's famous ocean boardwalk, the Malecón, at the site of several fantasy sculptures by Alejandro Colunga. Galería Pacífico features some of the stars of the Vallarta art scene, such as the highly acclaimed young artist Rogelio Díaz, the great master sculptor Ramiz Barquet, who created Vallarta's sculpture of a couple sitting on the Malecón called "Nostalgia," and Evelyn Boren, master painter of the 1998 Santa Fe Opera poster and many local and international scenes.
