With a vision that goes beyond Banderas Bay, beyond the borders of Mexico and even beyond the Americas, Dr. Stella Arnaiz seems to have not only history at her fingertips but economy as well.

Years spent in the development of Cancun got her professional feet wet. Her dedication to sustainable tourism never flags as she reminds listeners that tourism can become sustainable when we make it economically viable to do so.

Arnaiz and her husband, Dr. Alfredo César Dachary, both of CUCosta, form a team committed to finding a route in which this community, or any world community, can find its own way to sustainability.

They are both frequent speakers at conferences on the subject, as well as regular contributors of their continued studies.
