Jesus Tellosa is a man of many talents in many mediums. Although he began as a painter, the most accessible form to study, he also is a skilled sculptor and has even gained renown as a jeweler. Born in Michoacan, he moved to Vallarta in the mid-70s after spending several months a year here helping out in Manuel Lepe’s busy gallery. Despite the diversity of his work, it is always recognizable by its whimsical joie de vivre.

Jesus Tellosa es un hombre de muchos talentos y formas de expresión. Aunque comenzó en la pintura, por ser ésta la disciplina más accesible al estudio, también es un escultor de talento e incluso un reconocido diseñador de joyas. Nació en Michoacán y vino a vivir a Vallarta a mediados de los setenta, tras pasar varias temporadas cortas al año ayudando en la concurrida galería Manuel Lepe. A pesar de la diversidad de su obra, siempre se reconoce su espíritu en esa alegría de vivir caprichosa.
