 Bike Tours
Pedaling around Puerto Vallarta is getting more and more popular. There are a number of
different tours to see the scenery and get some exercise at the same time.
Tours range in difficulty and length from tooling around Vallarta and wandering down village paths to outright mountain climbing along riverbeds into the jungle. Longer tours of up to 50 kilometers to remote beach locations can also be arranged. Combination hiking and biking tours can also be reserved, as well as combination horse and bike journeys. Or how about a two-hour training ride? These are available every morning. Ecotours combine hiking, biking and swimming. Lunches or snacks and beverages are included on most tours. Self-guided tours are also available with your choice of equipment. Choose from race-quality Specialized Mountain Bikes, Cruisers, European-style Cross-Bikes, Rockhoppers, Globe 7s and others. All mountain bikes have full suspension. Rentals can be obtained by the day or week with gloves, helmets, fanny packs and flat tire repair kits included. Full-day and half-day trips as well as self-guided, customized tours can be reserved. You can also ride with a Red Cross-certified bilingual guide. |
