Beneath the surface, the underwater coves and nearby natural reef offer some of the finest snorkeling and diving in Pacific coast Mexico with a diverse array of brilliant sea life. Scuba excursions are organized by our own PADI 5-star Dive Center. On land, renowned botanist Charles Sacamano has lovingly created a special nature trail with markers that identify the exceptional flora and fauna of Caletas. For those who prefer simple relaxation, the pristine, private beach lined by tall coconut palms is captivating in its tranquility. Caletas also offers its own unique remedy to everyday stress: relaxing and therapeutic massages and facials in our enchantingly rustic day spa. Sea breezes float through the large, open windows of this luxury-primitive cabaña, located on a small hill with a sweeping view of the cove. Massages are given with aromatic and natural oils, using both traditional and indigenous techniques. An hour long sail takes us past the twilight town of Vallarta. Glistening in shades of fiery gold and pink, illuminated by the setting sun, this picturesque town offers a photographic opportunity impossible to resist.By night, the secluded cove of Las Caletas presents a mesmerizing vision of flickering torches under a star-studded sky.
