Mark's Bar and Grill

When Mark's Bar & Grill opened in Bucer｛s in 1992, food was not generating much excitement in the area; but that was nine years ago. The town (12 minutes north of the airport) has grown and the team at Mark's has created a restaurant worth the trip. The outdoor garden area is romantic. Tall palms, candles and linens make it relaxing and comfortable.

The bar, with open arches and sea breezes, shows sporting events and serves some of the best pizzas and flatbreads around. Wines by the glass, great cocktails and cappuccinos are the local favorites which make Mark's the heart of the town. The chef and her team build the menu around the local seafood and seasonal produce with daily changes.

The rack of N.Z. lamb with roasted garlic flan or the fresh lobster, grilled and served on perfect pasta, have the taste of Italy, while the Tempura Shrimp and housemade mango chutney are inspired from India and Asia. Lunch is a perfect time to visit Bucer｛s and this quiet town's elegant yet casual eating place located two blocks off the new highway and one block from the beach. Visit; you will find rare tuna slices and caponata on baguettes and mango margaritas that make the day.
