La Hacienda Restaurant
has captivated a wide clientele since it was founded in 1978. Your dining experience
can be enjoyed star-gazing in their cozy garden or, on chilly nights, the chimney-warmed
dining room. Its exquisite Mexican-style décor with soothing ambient music
makes it an ideal setting for romance and its attentive staff will make you feel
at home.
The well-traveled chef has designed a varied menu including flambé
dishes, imported fine cuts and excellent catch-of-the-day seafood. Servings
are generous and prices range between $10 and $18 USD.
Now, La Hacienda also is open for breakfast. You can choose Mexican "comfort
food" like chilaquiles (fried tortilla slices cooked in spicy tomato
sauce) and machaca (sun-dried beef in tiny strips fried with egg and cooked
in a spicy tomato sauce). They also offer creative omelets accompanied
with sauces and fresh hand-made tortillas. A less adventurous, but hearty,
option is the traditional American breakfast with a choice of pancakes,
French toast and bacon and eggs. All breakfasts average $5 per person.
