 La Dolce Vita La Dolce Vita has quickly become a landmark and a must-do while in Vallarta for both locals and visitors alike. This happening waterfront spot is great not only for authentic Northern Italian cuisine, but for people watching. Both the downstairs and upstairs dining rooms offer seductive views of the ocean. The busy, European atmosphere is enhanced by delicious brick-oven pizzas with crispy crusts and ample toppings. Pastas are made on the premises with traditional sauces, all complemented by an intelligent wine list. There are several antipasti to choose from, but the beef carpaccio is probably the best in town.
