 La Bodeguita del Medio The traditional Cuban restaurant and Bar since 1942 right here in Puerto Vallarta. Done in the same style as the celebrated bar in Cuba founded in 1942, this place has the powerful fascination of the old days in the romantic city of Havana. From the downstairs dining area, three windows open to the action on the Malecón while the view of the bay from the upstairs dining room is absolutely stunning. The presence of Cuba is so authentic that with a couple of mojitos -a drink with rum, lemonade and mint leaves that writer Ernest Hemingway used to love- and a good cigar from their humidor room, you will be transported to the Caribbean island. The music is Cuban, as are the chef, barmen, cooks and menu, featuring pork, rice and beans as the staples. Don't forget to visit our souvenir and cigar shop. |
