 Archie's Wok Sip on a Mai Tai Thai or a Szechwan Margarita in an oriental garden as you await a feast of tropical Asian flavors. Archie, chef for movie director John Huston, created a menu based on his native Filipino cuisine with Thai and Chinese accents. His wife, Cindy, carries on his legacy. We began with Lumpia, egg rolls with a tasty sweet and sour sauce, and Thai chicken satay with a coconut-peanut sauce. Or try the crunchy Spice of Life Salad. Our favorite entrées include Thai garlic shrimp and cashew chicken. The catch of the day is a filet, charbroiled and basted in Archie's teriyaki sauce. Archie's is well known by vegetarians for their variety of dishes such as the Thai Spicy Stirred Vegetables with Tofu. And don't leave without tasting Kiyoki's homemade key lime pie! Open 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. Closed Sundays. Closed the month of September. |
