| Puerto Vallarta's wonderful coastline is full of beautiful visual delights: the sparkling Banderas Bay, the jungle, the Sierra Madre mountains and a patchwork quilt of farmlands. Imagine flying over all of this and seeing even more than could ever been seen from the ground. Small, isolated villages high in the Sierras, waterfalls deep in jungles that are all but in-accessible, secluded beaches, remote Indian settlements, and huge rock formations with their own eco-system await the adventurous traveler. Watch dolphins and whales frolicking in the bay or follow rivers from their mountain origins to the sea.

Join the Remote Control Flying Club in Banderas Bay!: A remote control flying club meets every Saturday, in a two-hectare space located in San Vicente, Nayarit, a little town along Banderas Bay. Previously, this club met in Rincon de Guayabitos, but will continue to meet in San Vicente. Flying remote control airplanes is a very involved hobby and is not only about flying.
The Huichol Universe: They are easily spotted at diverse shops around town, painstakingly attaching multi-colored beads to hand-carved wooden sculptures depicting a variety of fantastic creatures.
Visit Talpa and Mascota: On the same tour, visit both the restful agricultural town of Mascota – its bright red rooftops contrasting with the myriad greens of its surroundings – and nearby Talpa de Allende.
San Sebastian: A World Away in 15 Minutes: Until recently, I hadn’t had the pleasure of knowing this neat, former silver-mining town in the mountains that’s as pretty and peaceful as I’d imagined real traditional Mexico could be.
Discover the World of the Huichol Indians: One hour away, a remote mountain village in the high reaches of the Sierra Madre is home to what is perhaps the last tribe in North America living as it did in pre-Columbian times.
