Vallarta Central: There’s no doubt that living in the heart of downtown is attractive for many who move to Puerto Vallarta specifically for the romantic life suggested by walking along the Malecón in El Centro on a sunny Sunday, surrounded by the friendly faces of Mexico.
SUB-REGIONS: Amapas, Conchas Chinas, East, North, South.
South Shore: The South Shore is where the foothills of the Sierra Madre meets the ocean, creating spectacular real estate opportunities for both home and condominiums with fantastic views of the bay and back to Puerto Vallarta.
SUB-REGIONS: Garza Blanca, Playas Gemelas, Mismaloya, Boca de Tomatlan, El Tuito.
Vallarta North: This region is situation between the international airport and the start of downtown Vallarta. Starting at the airport it extends south along the coastline, to Marina Vallarta and down to downtown Puerto Vallarta.
SUB-REGIONS: Hotel Zone, Marina Vallarta, Rio Pitillal Arriba, Rio Pitillal Abajo.
Valle Jalisco: The northerly and southerly sides of Banderas Bay are shaped by a small mountain range providing hillside elevation for the towns and real estate developments built here. In the center of this coastline starts a large agricultural valley that provides a long beach at bay shore, fed by the Ameca River that stretches back for many miles.
SUB-REGIONS: Aeropuerto, Ixtapa, Las Juntas, Las Palmas.
Valle Nayarit: As one of the fastest growing, most successful real estate investment regions in the state of Nayarit, the mega-developments of Nuevo Vallarta and Flamingos are known best for the full spectrum of real estate homes and condominiums they have to offer, including three golf courses and two marinas.
SUB-REGIONS: Valle de Banderas, Flamingos, Jarretaderas, Nuevo Vallarta.
North Shore: One of the fast-growing areas of the bay for real estate developments the region between Bucerias and Punta de Mita, often referred to as the “North Shore” since it’s the northern shore of Banderas Bay.
SUB-REGIONS: Bucerias, Costa Banderas, La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, Punta de Mita.
Costa Nayarit: starts at the northerly point of Banderas Bay at Punta Mita and follows the coastline northward. By road, you can access this coastline by following highway #200 out of Bucerias, or by taking the North Shore route through La Cruz out to Punta de Mita.
SUB-REGIONS: Costa Tortugas, Guayabitos, Litibu, Lo de Marcos, San Blas, San Pancho, Sayulita.
Costalegre: South of the Bay of Banderas starts the coastline of Costalegre. It stretches from El Tuito, in the mountains and Cabo Corrientes as the southern point of Banderas Bay, all the way to Barra de Navidad.
SUB-REGIONS: Barra de Navidad, Carreyes, Costalegre.
Sierra Madre: The towns of the Sierra Madre are some of Jalisco's oldest communities.
SUB-REGIONS: Mascota, San Sebastián del Oeste, Talpa de Allende.
