These candies are produced using traditional recipes that originated in some of the towns in this region, like Chapala, Cocula and Talpa. They’re made using all-natural ingredients and no preservatives or additives, besides having an amusing variety of names, shapes, and colors.

1. Cocada (with milk and sugar)
2. Tarugo (tamarind and chili pepper)
3. Borrachitos de Cocula (milk candy with wine)
4. Dulce de leche (milk with sugar)
5. Alfajor (coconut and sugar)
6. Huesitos (milk caramel with cinnamon)
7. Arrayanes (myrtle fruit with sugar)
