Other regularly scheduled events happen with much greater frequency, including the Downtown Art Walks and the twice-weekly Municipal Band concert in the Main Square. As well as events put on by the city’s culture department, new businesses hold frequent inauguration parties to which the general public is invited. There’s always something interesting going on.

Tennis Stars to Visit Puerto Vallarta: The Mexican Davis Cup Team led by Jorge Lozano will complete their final round of training in Puerto Vallarta from July 1 - 5, 2009, in an event that will promote our city internationally due to the status of the players.
Vallarta Yacht Club and Riviera Nayarit Band Together to Feed the Hungry: The people around Banderas Bay have stepped up to the plate, to help the unfortunate families that have lost jobs due to the complete stop in tourism. Says Laurie Ailworth of the Vallarta Yacht Club, “We've all been hit financially this year, but the need here is more immediate. So please, keep on donating!”
Vallarta Granted International Caliber Boxing Event: The new convention center in Puerto Vallarta will host an international boxing match on Saturday, July 18. The national television station TV Azteca will televise this world championship event.
