Puerto Vallarta's municipal dance troupe recently celebrated its 12th anniversary with a gala performance at the Krystal. Under Enrique Barrios, skillful direction, the group has represented Puerto Vallarta both throughout Mexico as well as internationally with several trips to the US, Canada, Europe and Latin America. Its repertoire, performed by 280 or-so members, mostly students, includes folkloric dances from many regions of Mexico. Here in Puerto Vallarta, the Xiutla can be enjoyed through their ongoing performances at Los Arcos.
