Vallarta to Get Second Riu Hotel this Fall

In a recent press release issued by Riu Hotels & Resorts based in Majorca, Spain, chairman and owner Luis Riu announced that the finishing touches are now being put on their newest and twelfth resort in Mexico, the five-star all-inclusive Riu Vallarta. Featuring innovative art deco-style architecture and decor, the nine-story resort will offer 550 deluxe guest rooms and suites, bringing the number of rooms owned by the Riu brand to 6,035 in Mexico, with 1,250 of them right here in Vallarta. Sister hotel Riu Jalisco, with its striking Moorish-influenced architecture, provides 700 accommodations in this destination. The two all-inclusive Rius are within an easy walking distance of one another on Nuevo Vallarta's Playa Flamingos, as well as handy to the championship Flamingos golf course.

The new Riu Vallarta will offer food and drink round the clock in five restaurants and the same number of bars, including one that you swim up to, as well as a complete activities programs for adults and children. This modern resort will have three swimming pools, one of them for kids, Jacuzzis, a fitness center, full service spa, mini-club, play park, complimentary water sports, a nightclub and more.

Business guests will be pleased to note that the hotel will also have two conference rooms and an array of business and meeting services.
