 The fourth edition of Restaurant Week organized by the Vallarta Lifestyles Publishing Group, will take place at the finest restaurants in Puerto Vallarta from May 15 - 31. This type of gourmet festival is an established event in several cities around the world. According to event manager Elsa Guadarrama, other cities just have one week of this festival but thanks to the support of hotels and restaurants in Puerto Vallarta, we will enjoy seventeen days of wonderful meals for great prices.
May is known as a month when tourism tends to slow down in the area. However our destination is well known as a gourmet paradise and this special festival will attract local residents and tourists to try new restaurants with prices up to 60% off the regular prices! Puerto Vallarta's tourism office director Miguel González, is pleased at how Puerto Vallarta has changed over the years and is now internationally recognized as a city with a diversity of high quality restaurants. "Important media members are constantly delighted with the contemporary, avant-garde and traditional cuisine found in our city, " he said at the press conference.
According to Hotel and Motel Association's Alejandro Torres, “Restaurant Week is good for our destination because its annual success proves the enduring and faithful actions that organizers have made. Six hotels have developed Restaurant Week hotel and meal packages and we expect more participation next year. Everyone wins with this project!" Kaiser Maximilian Owner Andreas Rupechter pointed that the prices and quality are incredibly good. "The prices are totally accessible for local people and a great promotion for tourists."
