As for the past two years, the Marriott CasaMagna will host the upcoming Palomazo Culinario, to be held October 17 at 7 pm. A fabulous charity event for good social causes, guests will enjoy a five-course tasting menu accompanied by wines and live music prepared by half a dozen of our best restaurants — all recipients of the prestigious Five Star Diamond Award: Vista Grill, Café des Artistes, Los Xitomates, Kaiser Maximilian, La Palapa and the Marriott.

With such an eclectic collection of eateries in charge of the menu, it's sure to be deliciously diversified, spanning the flavors of several gourmet cuisines. Plus, this is a great opportunity to find out who's back in town for the season! The idea for this popular event was conceived between friends, and the benefits shared between four local charities — AGAPE, a shelter for abused young girls; Arturo y los Hijos de Dios, which helps people in poor conditions; Becas Vallarta, which provides funds for bright but financially needy young people to stay in school; and Asilio de Ancianos San Juan Diego, a shelter for senior citizens — is most definitely friendship in action.
