Thierry Blouet’s Staff Received International Certificate
Five cooks from Café des Artistes and Thierry's Prime Steakhouse, under acclaimed chef Thierry Blouet direction, obtained the Certificado de Aptitud Profesional (CAP) last September in Mexico City. CAP is a French certificate for cooks, the Public Secretary of Education for Mexico (SEP) vouches the test that happens every two years in Mexico and is supervised by master French chefs. José Guadalupe Vidrio Ulloa (21 years old), Mario Rodriguez (23), Jesús Vázquez López (20), Andrés García (22), and Octavio Uribe (30) are now part of the third generation of certificate cooks after pass the test where participated 35 cooks from different cities of the country such as Cancún, Cabo San Lucas, Monterrey, Tijuana, and Mexico City. Each participant had to cook three courses menu in three hours while the master chefs qualified their technique and flavor. “They had to make basic recipees that seems simples but have to be well done. An interesting challenge” assured Thierry Blouet.
