Successful Pastry Festival at Café des Artistes

The pastry festival "Du Chocolat" at Cafe des Artistes, December 8-15, gave the opportunity to their customers to experience decadent chocolate delicacies prepared by chief instructor at the Escuela Culinaria Internacional in Guadalajara, Chef Eric Fernandez. Canadian-born Fernandez was trained at the Hotel Institute of Montreal from 1978 to 1980. Since January of 2004, he has been one of the chief instructors at the Escuela Culinaria Internacional in Guadalajara. Fernandez invited his three best students, Nayelli Guadalupe, Yoli Plascencia and Miguel Olivares to join him for this marvelous experience at Café des Artistes, considered one of the most prestigious restaurants in Mexico. Cafe des Artistes owner Thierry Blouet and Pastry Chef Alvaro Alvarez were also present at the press conference.
