Rambo Fourth Installment Comes to Puerto Vallarta
It's been close to 25 years since actor Silvester Stallone introduced us to Vietnam veteran John Rambo. Stallone is now bringing the character back from retirementfor a fourth installment of the franchise, to be filmed here in Puerto Vallarta. Production is scheduled to begin next month. In the film, tentatively called "Rambo IV: End of Peace," Vietnam veteran John Rambo is forced to emerge from his reclusive lifestyle and take justice into his own hands after his daughter gets kidnapped.
The main bulk of the new film will deal with a Colonel by the name of William Keating (James Brolin) searching for a U.S. fugitive wrongly accused of war crimes against the United States. In the fugitive's search to free his name and in Rambo's search to free his daughter, Rambo and this wrongfully accused man must fight together. Stallone, who turns 60 next year, is expected to remain in Puerto Vallarta through December.
