New Low-Cost Airline Comes to Puerto Vallarta-Main

Low cost airline Interjet recently announced the arrival of its first flight to Puerto Vallarta from Toluca, Estado de México. This airline distinguishes itself by its choice of alternative airports near several more-congested destinations (Toluca is less than a two-hour drive from Mexico City). Interjet operations officially began last Jun 1st with two daily flights every Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, while Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday offer only one flight. Airline owners Miguel Aleman Velasco and Miguel Aleman Magnani inaugurated this route along with Jalisco Governor Emilio Gonzalez Marquez and Jalisco Tourism Secretary Aurelio Lopez Rocha.
