New Low-Cost Airline Announces Guadalajara-PV Flight

Aerolíneas Mesoamericanas has recently announced new flights between Guadalajara and Puerto Vallarta. Also known as Alma, the airline joins Volaris as part of a recent crop of low-cost Mexican airlines to appear on the market. Based in Guadalajara, the airline launched operations in June of this year with flights from Guadalajara to Puebla, using two Bombardier CRJ-200 regional jets of Canadian manufacture. The fleet is expected to increase to eight planes within the next few months. The new Guadalajara-PV flights will be offered twice daily beginning September 15 with departures from Guadalajara at 11:30 AM and 5 PM. Returning flights from PV will be at 12:35 and 6:05 PM.
