Local Dolphin Day Camp Gets Amazing Results

In conjunction with Living From the Heart, a non-profit organization based in Colorado, Vallarta's world-class Dolphin Adventure Center in Nuevo Vallarta now offers dolphin assisted therapy programs for children and adults with challenges, including learning disabilities, autism and Down syndrome. A five-day program ideal for visiting families and groups who want to combine dolphin therapy sessions with their vacation includes five dolphin encounters, one-on-one time with a dolphin and a therapist, play sessions with the dolphins, art therapy, an age-appropriate gift, and an ice cream social where dolphin experiences are shared. This camp has had spectacular results, according to Macy Jozsef of Living From the Heart, children who had never made eye contact, hugged spontaneously or talked having done so after being with the dolphins. Since it is imperative that children feel comfortable and safe, there is no additional charge for those parents who want to get in the water with them. The main goal of the program is to encourage participants to progress and enjoy strong positive sensations. For more information visit LivingFromTheHeart.org or www.vallarta-adventures.com.
