In conjunction with Living From the Heart, a non-profit organization based in Colorado, Vallarta's world-class Dolphin Adventure Center in Nuevo Vallarta now offers dolphin assisted therapy programs for children and adults with challenges, including learning disabilities, autism and Down syndrome. A five-day program ideal for visiting families and groups who want to combine dolphin therapy sessions with their vacation includes five dolphin encounters, one-on-one time with a dolphin and a therapist, play sessions with the dolphins, art therapy, an age-appropriate gift, and an ice cream social where dolphin experiences are shared.
