Esperanza y Alegría is a support group for breast cancer survivors that was founded in November 2006. The group’s primary goal is to help them find a new sense in life and welcome the big "second opportunity" to live in hope. They disclose information to the membership as survivors, learning to break the myth "cancer equals death", and look forward to a new life project. Currently 10 women succumb to breast cancer daily in Mexico.
