The Westin Regina Resort and Spa will once again be the appropriately elegant setting for what many here consider the social event of the season, this gala dinner-dance and auction benefiting exceptionally bright but economically needy students happening Saturday, March 4 from 7 pm–12.30 am. Every year hundreds of Vallarta 'old-timers,' snowbirds, local business owners and professionals, and in-the-know tourists clear their calendars to ensure they are part of this fancy event for a very good cause. Featuring a formal sit-down dinner, cocktail hour, and dancing to a live band, this is the primary fund-raiser for the Becas Scholarship Program, now in its 45 year.
