Cafe des Artistes recently celebrated its 16th anniversary with a Sevilla-themed party. The guest list, which included the who's who of Puerto Vallarta, included attendants dressed in red and black sevillanas and mantillas, colors that reflect the heart of this Spanish traditional costume. A local dance troup offered a special performance which was greeted with cheerful oles from the audience. Chef/owner Thierry Blouet offered a speech in which he expressed his gratitude to all present for another successful year. Cafe des Artistes began its magical path 16 years ago within downtown Puerto Vallarta. Soon the restaurant became a legend among the local community and beyond, obtaining the most prestigious prizes offered to the culinary arts nationally and internationally. Today, this successful restaurant continues wining accolades. Its recent enhancements include a dramatic new entry with a wine library plus the romantic multi-level dining areas.
