Published Feb 16, 2006 - (Updated Jan 25, 2008)

Anticipating a busy holiday season, Líneas Aéreas Azteca has just announced an increase in flights from Mexico City and Guadalajara, starting this coming April. The airline recently began a new flight from Puerto Vallarta to Guadalajara at rates as low as $750 pesos one-way with unprecedented success. Beginning April, Azteca will fly to Guadalajara on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, with daily flights to Mexico City. In regards to the low fares, Lourdes de la Torre Gutiérrez, General Manager for the airline in Puerto Vallarta, commented: "The reduced fares do not represent a compromise in quality. Rather, passengers have consistently appreciated the level of customer care we offer them."
