Every Sunday for the next three months, a colorful and free-of-charge Mexican fiesta will be presented at Los Arcos, the outdoor amphitheater on the oceanfront walkway known as the Malecon. What an entertaining way to learn about Mexican history, tradition and culture while caressed by refreshing ocean breezes! Sponsored by Puerto Vallarta's Department of Culture and Recreation, which presented 469 free events on the Malecon just last year alone, this three-hour-long spectacle will feature mariachi music, the popular songs closest to Mexican hearts, traditional folkloric dances and much more from 7 - 10 pm, the "Domingos de Fiesta Mexicana" opening event on January 15 featuring the internationally renowned municipal dance troupe, Xiutla.
