Vitea celebrated the start of summer by delighting customers with its delicious cuisine, and an interesting art project inside of the restaurant executed by the renowned painter, Manuel Adria. This installation is a pair of colorful murals in surrealistic style to honor the memory of fellow artist, Sheila Divine. The idea for the murals was born with Divine, but after her death the owners of the restaurant decided to do something different. "She was a good friend, and we thought about doing a mural in her memory by taking a few basic ideas and making a sketch," and just like that the project began to take shape. The pair of paintings contain the elements of kites, mountains and a beautiful sunset that exemplify the beauty of Mexico.

For the owners of the restaurant this art installation celebrates the virtues of the city: its cuisine, Bohemian life, artists, fine wine, love and sunsets. These are the elements that move the destination away from being a cold tourist destination. Vitea retains the essence of its menu, with some special summer creations, while maintaining the excellent quality of food to delight your palate. For all lovers of Sarandeado fish, this special dish is prepared on the weekends accompanied with rice and Mexican salsa, using their house recipe that has proven to be very successful since their own Sarandeado Fish Festival last summer.
