Next November 5, runners from Kenya, Russia, France, Hungary, Bulgaria, Canada, the United States, Mexico and more will compete in Puerto Vallarta's fourth annual 21-km half marathon and 5-km fun run, with the value of the cash prizes to be awarded twice that of the 2005 event. Racers get off to an early start at about 7 am, both men and women invited to participate in one of four categories: Open 18 - 39; Master A 40 - 49; Master B 50 - 59; and Master C 60 and over, races starting and finishing at the Municipal Sports Center across from the Sheraton - which, if you're fairly fast you might like to know, offers a fabulous oceanfront Sunday brunch with mariachis until 2 pm.
