Regularly scheduled annual festivals and other events draw increasing numbers of food and wine aficionados, fishermen, film and fitness buffs, lovers of music and art, sailors, sports fans, jocks and more. Other regularly scheduled events happen with much greater frequency, including the Downtown Art Walks and the twice-weekly Municipal Band concert in the Main Square. As well as events put on by the city’s culture department, new businesses hold frequent inauguration parties to which the general public is invited. There’s always something interesting going on.
