The spectacular beach club of Costa Banderas, a few miles north of Vallarta in
Nayarit, is under new management. The best move is that they now offer free admission
to all visitors. As well, they have managed to fill their commercial locales with
artists and their work. There is an exhibition of the Huichol Indians and Bucerías
artist Jeff Black has moved there also. For those who have enjoyed their excellent
facilities, this is definitely good news. |

In
Memoriam
Peter Freinberg loved coming to Puerto Vallarta with his wife Carol since the
early seventies until his death, at age 50, last August. His humor sparkled in
his eyes and his cynical wit inspired many laughs. He also was warm and compassionate,
and several Vallartans experienced his generosity and hospitality, both at this
condo in Conchas Chinas and in his art-filled apartment in Manhattan. Peter will
be remembered and missed by many. |
